If you start out as a discount coach and one day wake up and have it on your heart to build this into a full-time business, you absolutely can! WHAT IS A BEACHBODY COACH?
A "coach" can mean so many things! We are mentors, friends, accountability partners, support systems, etc. There are different kinds of coaches, "discount" / "part-time" / "full-time," and each and every type of coach has it's own perks and benefits (like this little graphic portrays!) And ALL of you are a welcome part of TeamVIP!

Be sure to note on your CHECKLIST which type of coach YOU want to be. Remember that this can change at any time if you wake up one morning and decide to crank it up a notch.
No matter what type of coach you are now, you NEED to ANNOUNCE that you are a coach!! How is anyone going to know unless you spill the beans?!
FINDING YOUR WHY
It is truly so important, right from the beginning, to establish your WHY. This will be the thing that drives you, the thing that keeps you pushing hard to meet your goals, the REASON you wanted this in the first place. Do you want to stay home with your kids? Does your household need supplemental income? Do you need accountability that this coaching job would offer you? Do you hate your job and need something new? Are you looking for something that isn't about anyone else: your kids or your husband, but that is just for YOU? We have this little saying in TeamVIP that YOUR WHY should MAKE YOU CRY. And basically this means there is this deep-down reason why we NEED to succeed and basically figuring that out and understanding it is the FIRST STEP in being able to rock this business and really thrive. You may know this right away, but others may need to think on it a little bit. So feel free to take some time and when you're ready post it in the comments. THREE VITAL BEHAVIORS & POWER HOUR
The 3 Vital Behaviors for Beachbody Coaches
1.) INVITE. INVITE. INVITE. In order to be successful as a coach you should invite as many people as possible everyday. Invite them to try a product, invite them to join your next challenge group, invite them to learn about the business opportunity. Everyone is different in the way they go about inviting. I usually like to start with some "hey girls"--reconnecting with people and building a relationship and then inviting them to try a product and join my challenge group. After they have had success with this, then I offer to show them the business opportunity.
2.) BE PROOF THE PRODUCTS WORK. This is a big one. You need to be using the workouts and drinking Shakeology if you are going to be recommending them to others. More than likely nobody is going to buy from you if you have not been using the products because you have no validation on why they should use them. If you have read any of my other posts, I have said this over and over. You are a walking advertisement for your business. This does not mean that you have to be in perfect shape. In fact, sometimes it’s better if you are not at your goal yet because if you are using the products and seeing results people will be commenting on how you look and asking what you are doing. This will open up more opportunities for you to talk to others about Beachbody.
3.) PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT. You should try to spend at least 10 minutes a day on personal development. Whether you pick up a book or listen to some type of audio, personal development is a key to having success in this business. Spending time on personal development will make you a better person. It will help you to have a better attitude and be able to connect with people more easily.

POWER HOUR
To ensure steady growth in the business, be sure to knock this out DAILY. Pressed for time? AT LEAST do your Personal Development, invites, and hey girls!
1) ADD NEW PEOPLE to your social media network (3+ people/day)
Build a trusting and genuine relationship with these people! Like & comment their posts/pictures, private message them about things you connect with
2) BUILD RELATIONSHIPS//HEY GIRLS Take the time to comment and like other people's pictures/posts and respond to any comment they have left on yours. Start conversations with 3+ people/day about NON Beachbody related things, just whatever you CONNECT with them about!
3) SHARE the business with 3+ people/day. Whether it be the coaching opportunity, a product, a challenge group, a Shakeology recipe, etc.
4) INVITE at least 3 people to the next group you're running (whether it be Intro to Coaching or a Challenge/Accountability group).
5) RETURN MESSAGES (only from your business!) via e-mail or Facebook message.
6) PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
Read/listen to a book or article that will help you GROW as a person, as a leader, as a friend, etc. Personal Development is so huge in helping you to learn and become better at what you do.
7) FOLLOW-UP with the people you've been chatting with, make sure you scroll back through your e-mail and/or Facebook to make sure you're touching base with people who haven't committed yet or you haven't gotten an answer from. The faster you create a system that works for YOU, the more organized you'll feel. I like using Evernote; it's an app and website that syncs together so you can update your list wherever you are!
8) WORK OUT daily! Showing and sharing with others your commitment to your fitness is so important but actually BEING FIT and staying on track with your own fitness goals is even more important.
9) DRINK YOUR SHAKEOLOGY every day! And share the recipe you used or even a silly Shakeology selfie with your social media!
10) NATIONAL WAKEUP CALLS are on Monday morning but you can playback throughout the whole week! If you can't catch it on Monday make sure you listen at some point throughout the week during your Power Hour.
11) STAY CONSISTENT ON SOCIAL MEDIA
Post around 3-5 times/day (80% personal/ 20% biz) I like doing at least 1 personal, 1 motivational, and 1 fitness/workout/Shakeo related.
Share pictures of you, your day, what you're up to. Be engaging and focus on what value you're adding to your social media following with every post you make. Pay attention to what kinds of posts your followers like...I always get more likes/comments when my daughter's picture is involved so I put her in my workout/Shakeo pics since I want to pull attention to those.
12) CHECK YOUR COACH ONLINE OFFICE Look at the "alerts," check your customer orders, check the breaking news, etc.
Find a schedule that works for you to fit it all in. Listen to PD in the car, while cleaning or making dinner. Block off your workout time each day. Schedule National Wakeup Calls in your calendar weekly (or when you have time to listen to recording.) Create your social media content for the week on one day so you're not constantly trying to come up with valuable posts on the spot. Schedule a POWER HOUR that you can commit to daily. Lock yourself in a room and GET IT DONE. The more laser focused you are, the faster you'll get it done!

Sometimes it’s easy to get pulled down. Negative thoughts. Insecurities. Feeling overwhelmed. All of these can taint our attitude, and therefore our image, and have a negative effect on our business.
How do we stay above the fray? By engaging in personal development. Personal development can help us hone in on the best pieces of ourselves, find confidence where we didn’t know it existed, and motivate us to step outside of our comfort zone.
Be sure to check here for my list of favorite personal development resources. I listen to audio most of the time because it is so convenient to have the earbuds in and knock out your personal development time while driving, doing dishes, folding laundry, cooking dinner, etc.!

How to attract your dream team by being YOU
You have permission to be yourself.
1- Know your dreamies. Your dream team/challengers.
The people it will be FUN, not draining, to work with.
--know WHO you want to reach.
--SPOILER ALERT: it's not everyone!
--aim to attract long-term runnin' buddies
--YOU ARE NOT DESPERATE
--have ONE in mind + adapt as you find more
--start a COPY BANK of her passions, interests, and words. think of who you want 1000 more of-- her struggles before joining,, what makes her tick, etc.
--What does she WANT?
--What does she NEED?
2- Be yourself.
--use YOUR voice. not your uplines.
--help them hear you before they "hire" you
--this is NOT a copy paste game
--YOUR story makes YOU different!
--stories are REFRESHING. Real. Relateable.
--when in doubt, take the "tmi test" are you comfortable with it?
--Does it add value in some way?
--Are you okay if it goes viral? (even in a group--screenshots happen!)
What if you're starting to sound like someone else? Keep your eyes on your own paper, missy! Share from your heart. Those get more engagement because people can feel that. Use their words--from the copy bank.
3- Style 'em up.
--be mindful of proper spelling and capitalization. be professional, not distracting.
--throw the rest of the "rules" out of the browser window.
--experiment with bold, italics, fragments, and parentheses for effect.
--keep sentences and paragraphs short n sweet.
--have FUN with it! you're accessorizing your WORDrobe ;) it can be playful
If you would use that word in real life, go for it. Don't try to sound "cool," just try to sound like you. You don't want there to be a disconnect once you meet/talk to someone in real life when they've been following you on social media for a while!
A note on exclamationpointitis... be careful or you might sound like a teenager or a cheerleader or... everything isn't really an exclamation point in real life but that's how you sound in people's heads if you use them at the end of every sentence.
4- Share with clarity + purpose.
--wait. WHY are you posting? take your time and think.
--what do you want people to know, feel, or do as a result of this post? ask yourself this before you post!
--keep it tight. words, short sentences, white space. giant blocks of texts don't get read.
--use SHIFT + ENTER. creates more white space.
--nope. don't obsess or overthink it.
--experiment! see what fits too tight, to frumpy, and just right. you'll find your groove.
--you have permission to be YOURSELF!
Say it with me: REALLY GOOD IS GOOD ENOUGH.
IT DOESN'T NEED TO BE PERFECT; IT JUST NEEDS TO BE SHARED.

Step 4- Action- not all posts need to have this BUT asking a question will get people engaging and connecting with you.
If you're scared to share something...people are probably going to love on it. Insecurities being shared are RARE and get attention.
People don't trust perfect, so you don't need to pretend to be. We're all living our story. Sharing the journey is what makes it worthwhile.

is a direct reflection of the brand you represent.
Your social media platforms are your "front door" to your small business shop.
So. If you're comfortable sharing your opinions and beliefs then do that but just realize that you're NOT going to make EVERYONE happy. {Which is okay since we want to attract our NICHE market.
THAT BEING SAID
we MUST live our truths UNAPOLOGETICALLY if we want to truly thrive as an entrepreneur in this sort of business, grow as a person, and be honest to goodness happy.
BUT
there is a fine line to walk in HOW we live that truth. We want to be a source of GOODNESS, HAPPINESS, JOY, and LIGHT in the lives of others, always being vulnerable and REAL but ALWAYS ADDING VALUE to others.
So. If some big political, moral, etc. *thing* happens and you want to address the elephant in the room, just try to keep it positive and in a way that ADDS VALUE to others' lives.
CHALLENGE GROUPS
So, what ARE Challenge Groups from a coaches perspective?
They are where the MAGIC happens!
Basically, Challenge Groups are small, micro-communities organized and led by coaches, usually in private Facebook groups! In them, the members get TONS of value from you, the coach. They’re given accountability, one-on-one coaching, encouragement, a sense of camaraderie, recognition for accomplishments, a safe place to share struggles, opportunities for big rewards, and most importantly, a GREAT experience knowing that they are NOT going through this challenge alone!
Do I really need to run a challenge group?
YES. That’s is no longer a question for you. If you’re a coach, and you want to help people, you really need to run challenge groups! Reminder- We’re a business that thrives ONLY when our customers get fantastic support and guidance from passionate coaches like YOU. Running them will also hit you Success Club, increase your volume, earn you team cycle bonus, and recruit new coaches into your downlines!
When should I run Challenge Groups?
Every month! At least! I like to recommend starting one challenge group a month when you are first starting, and if you build up some great momentum with your business, you might even be able to start more! Just be careful- you never want to sacrifice the quality of your coaching just to hit bigger numbers! It’s NOT worth it! We have TONS of Team Fit Couture groups (21 Day Fix/Extreme, PiYo, Insanity Max 30, Body Beast and also a general *free* Food & Fitness group) don't feel pressured to run your own right away! Join an existing group and ease into how things work before opening up your own!
