SUCCESS CLUB
WHAT IS SUCCESS CLUB?
Success Club is a point-earning system that rewards you for consistently participating in activities designed to help you grow your business! A fun little fact? In over the past three years, Coaches who qualified for Success Club every month watched their paychecks increase by an average of 68%.
HOW DO YOU HIT SUCCESS CLUB?
For every (new customer) Challenge Pack you sell you get 2 points. For every (new customer) enrolling in Shakeology HD you get 1 point!
WHAT DO I GET IF I HIT SUCCESS CLUB?
+ First and foremost, by selling 3 challenge packs (which would give you 6 SC points) you are earning a minimum of $120 in commission! Nice little chunk of change, right?
+ Secondly, each month Beachbody offers a PRIZE for achieving this milestone! The prize varies each month, which is always super fun.
+ You'll also become eligible for exclusive free customer leads! Success Club enters you into the lead wheel to have customers who purchase without a coach signed on with YOU as their new coach! It's pretty awesome, I've even had free leads go on to BECOME a coach too!
+ FREE TRIPS!! 2015's trip was to CANCUN and 2016 is a WEST CARIBBEAN CRUISE! All expense paid. Incredible, right?
+ Not to mention, I know a lot of your upline coaches offer Success Club prizes for their PS who hit SC as well, so that's just another added bonus!
+ BUT MOSTLY!!!! Hitting Success Club shows that you are OWNING your business. It shows you are committing yourself to push for big goals! Am I saying that selling a program outside of a challenge pack is any less special? NOT AT ALL. I firmly believe ANY sale is a good one because it means SOMEONE IS ON THEIR WAY TO GETTING HEALTHIER! A challenge pack sale is just that extra push! Something to strive for!
If any of you guys have questions about Success Club or anything I mentioned in this post, feel free to ask in the comments! I want everyone to understand it so they know WHY they want to push for it each month!
Also I LOVE this video from Lindsay Stay about WHY you want to hit Success Club!

SHAKEOLOGY
Shakeology. Essentially the leading seller in all of Beachbody. It's the thing we love to consume and love to promote. Our customers will see the best results in their fitness regimen USING Shakeology and we earn the most commission when selling Shakeology in conjunction with a program (i.e. the challenge pack). This video is my favorite to share with potential challengers because it's what helped ME see the light and really show me what I'd be missing out on!
So what is Shakeology? What is in it? What does it do? How does it compare to other brands? Check out this article one of our upline coach's wrote that really dives into all things Shakeology. Shakeology: How it Measures Up
This is by far one of my favorite videos about Shakeology. It shows Shakology creator, Darien Olien, traveling the WORLD in search of the best possible ingredients to go into Shakeology! Definitely take a peak at this video, it's incredible. Do we want to overload our potential challengers with videos and information? No. But it's really important that WE have a deep understanding of the products, ESPECIALLY Shakeology, so we can discuss it competently and confidently when helping others!
Shakeology is *not* a protein powder.
That is a common misconception. People say "why is Shakeology so expensive, I see protein powders at GNC for half the price." Well, that's because Shakeology is a nutrition supplement with over 70 ingredients. Protein, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, phytonutrients, adaptogen herbs, prebiotics, probiotics, digestive enzymes, and fiber ALL inside Shakeo! Check out this *super funny* video from Tony Horton about what is IN Shakeology and how it would cost SO much more if you were to purchase everything in Shakeology individually.
Shakeology & Pregnant/Nursing?
We get this question a LOT from new mommas. Be sure to learn all you can so you can confidently answer them. SHARE how it has helped so many but ALWAYS have them refer to their doctor for the final verdict. Check this article for an in depth look: Is Shakeology Safe While Pregnant or Nursing?
Shakeology Pricing?
Shakeology is $129.95 (before tax & shipping) and is available on Home Direct (HD) for $2 shipping. We always try to get our customers on HD for 2 reasons: 1) they save on shipping (it's around $15 if not on HD) and 2) we get a Success Club point if they choose the HD option. Each month there is a Challenge Pack discounted to $140 so essentially they are getting a workout program for free versus paying for a 1 time bag of Shakeology with the full ($15) shipping price. This is a huge selling point for many people, especially when it's the 21 Day Fix on sale!
As a coach we get Shakeology for 25% off that price - around $96 (before tax & shipping which will vary based on state sales tax.) After you watch these videos, you'll understand the pricing and realize it's NOT "too expensive" like so many people think...that is a misunderstanding and it is so important to understand it ourselves share just how valuable it is! People have to UNDERSTAND and see the VALUE in something before they'll spend ANY money on it.
ACTIVE vs INACTIVE COACH
The Importance of Becoming and Staying Active
All new coaches start out their first week as INACTIVE. If you purchased a challenge pack during the sign-up process, the Beachbody system will show you as ACTIVE the next time the system updates (the next Thursday). The Beachbody system checks every Wednesday night at midnight EST to see if each coach has bought or sold at least 50 PV (personal volume) points in the last 35 days. You can see how many PV points are assigned to each product by looking them up in your Coach Online Office or simply go the Team Beachbody store while you are logged into your account.
PVs are about equivalent to what YOU pay, as a coach, dollar for dollar. For example, P90X costs $89.89 for you as a coach and is worth 90 PV. If someone purchases it from your account, they pay $119.85 and you earn $30 (25%) and 90 PV. It’s the same PV points whether you buy it for yourself, or if someone buys it from your Beachbody website or link.
If you have 50 PV (from personal purchases or customer sales), the system will post your new ACTIVE status (or higher coach rank status) the next time the system updates—Thursday morning. So, even if you bought or sold 50 PV worth of merchandise today, it would stay INACTIVE until Thursday afternoon.
So, what does INACTIVE really mean?
As INACTIVE you are still a coach. You still receive commissions on sales that you make. BUT, inactive status is a pretty good indicator that you’re not really actively buying or selling and therefore not getting much out of the coaching experience. frown emoticon
If you’re not using the products, you’re not likely to be talking about them. And, really NOT likely to be able to share them genuinely with others. On the other hand, if you live the Beachbody coaching lifestyle, the conversations about the products will come more naturally.
If you just joined to get the 25% discount staying active isn’t all that important, but if you want to build your business staying active is pretty much a necessity. Signing up for Shakeology home direct is the easiest way to do this. You need to be giving out samples of Shakeology anyway! I actually have 2 home direct orders of Shakeology. One that my husband and I use for our personal use (the bulk bag) and the other I use for samples (the packets).
But is being ACTIVE really that important?
The first level of higher earnings (when you become eligible for team bonuses and the Customer Lead Program) is to reach EMERALD rank. Being Emerald means you are ACTIVE and you have at least two coaches under you that are also ACTIVE (one on each side in your downline). So, you could become Emerald right away, but have a coach who hasn’t bought or sold 50 PV worth of product in 35 days and drop out of Emerald status. Not a show-stopper, but you DO lose your carryover volume when you drop back down to Coach status. The more coaches you have, the easier it is to maintain your rank and go higher. Plus, if you’re using products yourself each month, and/or have a regular customer base that grows each month, your status remains ACTIVE easily.
MAKING MONEY

{Cycle Bonuses / Commission}
By signing up as a Beachbody Coach, you are signing up to be a home based business owner. The concept is actually pretty simple. Beachbody Coaches make a commission on all of the retails sales that they make, and they are also able build a team of Coaches and earn bonuses on all of the volume created within their organization.
RETAIL COMMISSION
Here’s a simple breakdown of what a Beachbody Coach can earn from their retail commissions. Coaches earn 25% on all of their sales except for Challenge Packs (will explain more about that below.) If a Coach makes a Shakeology sale, they will make a $30 commission on that sale. If a Coach sells 5 bags of Shakeology a Coach would earn approximately ($30 x 5 = $150) $150 in commissions for those 5 sales. If all five of those customers order again next month once their supply runs out, the Coach would earn the same commissions that next next, and for every month the customer decides to reorder. When selling Challenge Packs (Shakeology + program) that has it's own compensation plan (see link below) and we also earn Success Club points off those sales as well which has it's own individual perks as discussed here.
Complete Challenge Pack Commission & Volume Breakdown
(*Note: "Bonus Points" = dollar amount. ex: 40 points = $40, 70 = $70, etc.)
TEAM CYCLE BONUSES
The second part to Beachbody’s compensation plan is team cycle bonuses, and this is where things start to get a little complicated. Don’t be intimidated or overwhelmed, it actually is pretty simple to understand once you peel back of all the fancy wording and terminology. You’ll hear things like “right leg, “left leg”, “strong leg”, “weak leg”, Emerald, Ruby, Diamond - but don’t let any of that confuse right from the start.
Beachbody uses what is called a binary compensation plan. Basically, all that means is that each Coach has 2 legs that they build “wide” and “deep”. (Image below of how a binary compensation plan works).
The most lucrative part of the Beachbody Coach compensation plan has to do with team cycle bonuses. When you hear about Coaches making tens of thousands a dollars a month, it is because they have built a large organization that is producing a lot of team volume. Keep in my mind that “team volume” is volume that is created by anyone within your organization, it doesn’t matter if you personally sponsored them or not.
First, it is important to know that in order to be eligible to receive cycle bonuses, a Coach has to be the rank of Emerald or above. In order to be Emerald, all a Coach has to do is personally sponsor 2 other active Coaches, 1 in each leg (image right).
Basically, team cycle bonuses can be described like this. A Beachbody Coach will earn a cycle bonus, anytime there is 300 TV (team volume) points in their organization, with 200 TV being one leg, and 100 being in the other.
Depending on the rank of the Coach, a cycle bonus is worth either $14 for an Emerald Coach, $16 for a Ruby Coach, and $18 for a Diamond Coach. You might be thinking, $14?…big whoop right? Well the $14 is for 1 cycle, it is possible to cycle numerous times a day, in which case the cycle bonuses start to add up.
Below is an example of how the team cycle bonuses work:
In the picture below an Emerald Coach has a total 740 team volume points, 540 TV in the left leg, and 200 TV in the right leg, so in this case, the Emerald Coach would earn 2 cycle bonuses $14 each, or $28 total. All unused team volume stays and will accumulate until the Coach is able to earn a cycle bonus on it.
A Coach is able to build an organization that can go down to infinite levels, there is no max to the amount of people a Coach can have on their team. However, there is a weekly maximum a Coach can earn in cycle bonuses, and that maximum amount depends on the Coach’s rank. Below are the weekly maximums for the corresponding rank:
Emerald – $250/week
Ruby – $1000/week
Diamond – $2000/week
1 Star Diamond – $3000/week
2 Star Diamond -$4000/week
3 Star Diamond -$5000/week
4 Star Diamond – $6000/week
5 Star Diamond – $7000/week
7 Star Diamond – $9000/week
8 Star Diamond – $10,000/week
9 Star Diamond – $11,000/week
10-15 Star Diamond – $12,000/week
Also, the numbers listed above are per business center. When Coaches advance in rank, at certain levels they are allowed to open up new business centers. For example, when a Coach reaches the rank of 2 Star Diamond, they are allowed to open up a new business center and place it anywhere they want in their organization. This new business center has its own weekly maximum limits on cycle bonuses. In total, a Coach is allowed to open up to 25 business centers in total, making the Beachbody Coach compensation plan almost limitless. Imagine having 25 business centers, all maxing out the compensation plan at $12,000 a week. I’m not an expert at math, but I think that adds up to about $300,000 a week, or $15,600,000 a year!
Remember, those numbers listed above are at the absolute end of the spectrum, most people are not going to come anywhere close to making that kind of money as a Beachbody Coach. But making a million dollars a year after 5 -10 years is definitely possible, and making 6 figures in 3-5 years even more realistic.
It is important to understand that just starting out as a brand new Coach, the majority of the money you will earn will come from your retail sales. As you grow a team, your team cycle bonus will start out slow and slowly grow as your team grows. It is also important to understand exponential growth, and that is the early stages growing a team will be more challenging. For example, growing a team from 0 to 100 can be more challenging than growing from 100 to 1000. As you bring new Coaches, and they those new Coaches start to bring in Coaches, and all of those Coaches start to bring in new Coaches, and so on, and so on, things can start to snowball and grow pretty fast. The key is to be able to endure the struggle it takes to grow a team in the beginning. (Another reason why that personal development is SO important.)
I recommend watching both of these videos as this stuff is tricky and the more ways someone can explain it to you for it to click, the better!

{Emerald, Ruby, Diamond, Star Diamond}
There are MANY promotion and rank advancement opportunities available to Beachbody coaches. Here is a basic rundown of the first three rank promotions. This should help you put a plan together on how to get build from Emerald to Ruby to Diamond!
((EMERALD))
What does it mean to be an Emerald coach?
To be an Emerald coach you must have two personally sponsored coaches, one of each leg, and have at least 50 personal volume points.
Becoming Emerald should be something you do, strategically and with purpose. Not something you do as it happens. How? Okay. Beachbody allows every coach to pay for 3 people total in their businesses. This is not an accident. It's so that those coaches who understand that getting to Emerald is a business strategy can make it happen. Bring in 2 people. Usually a spouse or significant other, a child who is over 18, a parent, etc. And I know, I've heard the "My mom/hubby/dad/sister doesn't want to do this. So what? They don't have to. You sign them up, you pay for them to be active -- yes, you can do this yourself, and you should, even if you think you can't afford to. Bring them in on 50 PVs. And what do you know. There are all these nutritional packages and products that you can order on HD that are exactly 50 PVs. Convenient? Yes. Strategically set up that way? You bet your behind. Don't worry about whether Aunt Sally or mom or dad or hubby wants to "be a coach.” You sign them up, pay for their product, let them sit there under you as a qualifying coach and watch yourself begin to earn an income. And get customers. Who purchase product. Who might do a challenge. Who might buy Shakeology HD. Who might even become coaches. All because you signed up your spouse and someone else close to you, paying for it yourself (gasp!) so that you could be Emerald. There. This is not a nice- to-be sort of thing. It's not a I-hope-someone-does-it kind of thing. Beachbody has set things up precisely so you can get to Emerald fast. Your coaching business is not a hobby. It's not a game. It's not a spare time activity. It is a business. And as such, you need to finance that business to get it up and running and earning you money. Quickly. Then work on growing your team and learning how to become a great coach. This will pay off handsomely down the road. So stop sitting there saying I can't find anyone to sign up to get me Emerald. Take matters into your own hands and get it done! Period. Are you running a business or engaging in make believe?? You Decide
What are the benefits of being an Emerald coach?
Free leads! Team cycle bonuses! As an Emerald coach you are now able to receive team cycle bonuses ($14 per cycle), which can be a substantial chunk of your income. Check Lindsay Stay's video to the right for more GREEN inspiration.
((RUBY))
What does it mean to be a Ruby coach?
To be a Ruby coach you must have four personally sponsored coaches’ two on each leg AND an Emerald coach on each leg. You must reach 75 personal volume points to be considered an active Ruby coach.
What are the benefits to being a Ruby coach? The same as Emerald; free leads! Team cycle bonuses! Your team cycle bonus pay increases to $16 per cycle.
((DIAMOND))
How can you become a Diamond coach? By having eight personally sponsored coaches, four on each leg, with two Emerald coaches on each leg. As a Diamond Coach, your team cycle bonus pay increases to $18 per cycle. The $4 difference between Emerald and Diamond may not seem like a substantial difference, but with the increase in cycle pay should come an increase in volume (and cycles). As a Diamond coach, you are adding more coaches to your team and they are bringing more volume points, which increases the number of times you cycle – making your weekly bonuses higher.
((STAR DIAMOND))
A Star Diamond Coach (1-15) symbolizes how many PS coaches under you have earned Diamond rank. You are paid the same cycle bonus ($18) as a Diamond at this rank but have a higher weekly cap. There are new qualifications you must meet to maintain this rank but also more opportunities to earn! Check out the Star Bonus details in the pic below...if that's not motivation, I don't know what is!

SIGNING NEW COACHES/COACH PLACEMENT
What is my link? Where do I place them? What are "legs"?
LINK
First of all, your link to give a potential coach when they are ready to sign up is: https://www.teambeachbody.com/tbbsignup/-/tbbsignup/coachsignupflow?referringRepId=YOURCOACHID
(^replace with YOUR coach ID!^ or just send them to teambeachbody.com/YOURUSERNAME and tell them to click "Be A Coach" under the "Coach" tab.)
PLACING COACHES
But before you give them that link you want to have your "preferred placement" set up. Remember, to become an "Emerald" coach you need 1 active coach on each "leg" so you want to make sure you are switching "legs" when signing up coaches to achieve the various ranks.
The first step is in your Coach Online Office click My Business < My Downline < Graphical Genealogy.
If you're wanting to place on your LEFT leg you'll click the link "Go to Bottom Left."
Then you'll click on the little "blue person" on the FAR LEFT side. (image right). Once you click him, he turns red and your "preferred placement" is set there for the next coach that signs up!
**NOTE = If you happen to have a coach sign up suddenly and they are in the wrong position, you have 3 days (72 hours) to contact Coach Relations and change their position. Email Coach Relations at coachrelations@teambeachbody.com and tell them your name and ID #, the name and ID # of the coach that just signed up, the name and ID # of the coach you want to place them under, and then the position (right or left).
This is a great video from Melanie Mitro about coach placement!
WHAT ARE LEGS?
So EVERY Beachbody Coach has a business structure with two legs. A left leg, and a right leg. Or, what we call downlines. Now, when you sponsor your first coach into your organization, you have a choice: you can place them on your left leg, or your right leg. Simple!
As we mentioned before the most common technique is to avoid placing your coaches on your inside legs, and instead, placing them on the FAR OUTSIDE positions of your downlines. If you don’t use this strategy, you run the risk of taking away strength from the structure of your organization and you could run into issues down the road.
So okay, we’ve got our left leg, right leg, and we understand that, but which one is my strong leg? Which one is my weak leg?
The simplest way to understand this is to remember that one of your legs falls directly in line with one of your upline coaches legs! Check this out.
When you’re looking at your business, the leg that you share with your sponsor coach is YOUR strong leg. When your upline coach sponsors a new coach onto that downline, it also falls into YOUR shared downline, thus, making it stronger.
On the other hand, your WEAK leg is the downline of your organization that does NOT get any trickle down coaches from your upline. Another way to put it- YOU are completely responsible for building your weak leg ON YOUR OWN.
This was a lot to digest, I know. In time, it’ll all start to make sense. If you need help strategizing, don’t hesitate ask your sponsor coach. They have a birds eye view of your organization and will be able to help.

CREATING A SCHEDULE / TIME MANAGEMENT
FIRST thing on this topic: Print out the Coach Planner and USE IT DAILY!!!
Okay. Got it? If not, put it on your to do list for TODAY or TOMORROW! K? K. Moving on.
Tips from a mutli-6 figure earning 12 Star Elite Coach:
Working from home can be hard because we have to create our own balance. It makes it even harder when we have other duties in or outside the home (i.e. another job, children, etc.) So creating our own structure is SO important to not getting overwhelmed and ensuring you maximize your day to get the most done! Here is a little list of my top 3 tips and some videos that will dive a little bit more into detail.
1. Create a Prioritized List
Set up a time budget for my daily activities. This has been revolutionary for me! When I first switched to using a time budget, I adhered to the same daily time budget for my work-at-home hours (45 minutes on this, 10 minutes on this, 15 minutes on this, etc.). However, in recent months, I’ve shifted to writing out a time budget plan for each new day.
I include everything on this plan — from showering to making dinner to answering e-mails/message, checking in on challenge groups, to working out. I try to cover all of the bases and leave 2 hours of margin time for those inevitable interruptions. If you're like me, you need accountability in order to stick to this plan so I like the 30/30 app for iPhones or you could just set alarms in your phone.
This might seem like a lot of work, but because each day is different and there are different project deadlines and must-do’s that may vary with each day (though that Power Hour remains constant), this helps me to be able to stay organized and manage my time well — all while being flexible.
After creating the time budget plan for each day, I take it a step further and prioritize my day. I’ve found that if I don’t have a prioritized plan for what I need to do, I can quickly spend a few hours just putting out fires.
Instead of just saying, “I’m going to spend four hours on computer working each day,” I write down exactly what I plan to do during that time in prioritized order. If I know I need to do A then B then C then D, it keeps me on task and it guarantees that I actually accomplish the most important priorities.
2. Do One Thing At a Time
I know, I know! Multi-tasking can seem like a very efficient way to do many things. However, when it comes to most most work tasks, if you want to get concentrated work done in an efficient manner, you need to shut out all the noise and just focus on one thing at a time.
If it’s your time to email, work on emailing. Go through your emails in order of priority and don’t stop until your time is up. If it’s your time to research something, only work on researching that thing. If you need to make a phone call, just make the phone call. Even if you're in your inviting block of the day and someone respondsd, WAIT until you're in your inbox or response block. So many times a conversation can throw us off track and lead to not getting everything done!
If you’re used to trying work on your computer while you have a bunch of applications open and with your phone constantly dinging at you, you’ll likely be surprised at just how much work you can get done in a distraction-free 20-30-minute concentrated block of time.
And once you get in the habit of doing one thing at a time, you’ll learn where your fizzle out point is. This is the point when you need to stop and take a break or stop for the day in order to come back to your project refreshed and energized.
Personally, I’ve found that I do best by working in 20-30 minute blocks and then rewarding myself with a short 5-minute break to check email or read something online. If I’m working on an in-depth project that requires a lot of brain power, I’ll often set the timer for 20 minutes and work on it and then set the timer for 15 minutes and work on a cleaning project or play with the kids.
3. Tame the Email/Message Monster
I shoot to have no more than 5 emails/messages in my inbox at all times. This might sound crazy, but it’s one huge way that I stay organized and efficient as a business owner.
When I check my email, I aim to deal with emails immediately. Here’s how:
1) If an email can be deleted, I delete it immediately (I’m pretty ruthless when it comes to using the delete button!)
2) If an email only require a quick response, I respond immediately.
If no response is necessary, I archive the email.
3) If an email can be handled by someone else on my team, I forward it onto the appropriate team member.
I’ve found that this system covers the majority of emails. For the emails that require a longer response, I save them in my inbox and try to get to them as soon as I can — preferably that same day.

SOCIAL MEDIA
Okay. This is a BIGGIE. Have you taken a break recently? Do you have a little while to devote to this section? Come here when you have time to TAKE NOTES, watch some videos, and really dive deep into this topic. This is a CRUCIAL aspect of growing your biz so it's important your mind is ready to soak it all up!

Start thinking about this. In the next phase, we'll work to perfec tthis because you'll share this a LOT in private messages AND on your social media platforms in order to emotionally connect with people and attract them to you and your business.
MORE SOCIAL MEDIA TIPS
*People who engage with your posts, more of your posts will show up in their timelines! Make it a point to engage with your potentials/your target market.
*Native post: Posts not about promoting, simply give value. Personal, friendly, natural. Fit in with what everyone else on FB is talking about. Gets more engagement with following.
*Non-native post: promotional. Naturally won't get as much engagement. When you DO a promotional post (about upcoming group, sale, etc.) FB pays attention to how many native posts you've had recently. To ensure more people see these, "prime the pump."
*Priming the pump: providing a lot of really valuable posts to your readers leading up to a promotional post. Also, even if your promotional post had been primed with valuable posts, if it's "overly promotional," pushes people to buy, stock photos, etc., they won't show it to as many people. BUT if you still provide value in these non-native/promotional posts with a story, personal picture, why/how it helps YOU, FB will show it to more people! Get personal, just like you're chatting with a friend.
We want to do this not only to get better traction on our challenge group/promotional posts, but also because we want our personal brand to be about providing value, not just always inviting/trying to sell things.
*Your FB timeline is like a personalized newspaper. Think about the "newspaper" you're sharing...it should be FULL of value and different personal and emotional posts with just a few ads/promotions tucked in, just like a real newspaper is.
Follow 80/20 rule- 80% of what you post should be personal, valuable posts, "native" posts. 20% should be promotional, "non-native" posts. This will build an audience who will be interested in that 20%.
*Pay attention to what your friends engage with the most and do more posts like that, while still mixing it up. Go through and see what they interact with and see what you should post more of. Also pay attention to the time and day you're posting because this can make a huge difference. For me, Sunday through Wednesday nights are usually the only time I do non-native posts because I get the most engagement that way. Throughout the day and on the other weeknights, I provide valuable, personal posts that "brand" myself and share my life so people connect with me.
1. Get really personal.
Notice that pics of your dog get more likes than posts about your business? Take advantage of that! Let people in on your life. Share stories. Share pictures that let people see what your life is all about. Provide VALUE at the same time. Not just a selfie, but helpful tips, inspiring stories/insights, etc.
2. Get really, really personal with the people that comment on your posts.
Tag them and make them feel valued by commenting back. These are seeds being planted and making them feel special.
3. Ask questions to your audience that are relevant to your brand.
Use comments to formulate posts you can make in the future!
4. Stick around after you ask the question.
Respond to their response!
5. Make each post ignite a FEELING in your reader.
When readers feel happy, excited, inspired, etc. they are more likely to take action. Tell a story with your post.
6. People will SHARE things that make them feel GOOD.
7. Write your posts as if you're talking to a friend.
The more personal you get,
8. Create eye-catching pictures.
Rhonna, picmonkey.com, canva.com Create your week's
9. Mix up your content.
Videos, images, text only
10. Schedule your social media
Once you're running groups, it's helpful to use the Buffer app, $10/month, to post to all of your groups. (When you post to your profile from a 3rd party site like this [or even a YouTube link] FB doesn't put it in as many timelines. You can plan out your posts ahead of time and save them somewhere like the "notes" app or the Evernote app is great too because you can access it on the computer and on the app and it stays updated throughout. That way you can just copy/paste your posts and stick to your schedule!)
FULL RECORDING by Sarah Gaub 7* Diamond Coach
Social Media is definitely a critical part about our business which is why we place such a strong emphasis on learning it and loving it. We so quickly "tap out" of our warm market which is why developing, growing and expanding your "cold market" is so important - which is mainly done through social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Blogging, etc.)
WHY is social media so important? This is where the RELATIONSHIP starts. We want our following to feel like they REALLY know us, like they get to "hang out" with us every day. The ONLY way people will connect with us to the point that they decide they want US to help them is if we make an EMOTIONAL connection with them. That mean the more real, raw, vulnerable, and transparent we are about WHO we are, what mess we come from, and what trials we've had in our past, the more people are going to be attracted to our business. As the quote says, "vulnerability is the only bridge to connection." And if we don't connect, we cannot help others transform their lives.
You **FIRST** HAVE TO get very specific with WHO you want to work with. Who is your ideal challenger and/or coach? Figure this out by thinking about:
a. Who are YOU? Faith, beliefs family, job, history, experiences, passions
b. What do YOU like to do? Hobbies
c. What struggles do you face?
d. What is in your past that you've had to overcome? Turn your tests into your testimony, share how your trials turned into triumphs.
You have to get deep with who YOU are because you have to be able to deeply connect with the people you're wanting to attract. You should be saying/hearing often, "um are we the same person/soulmates/best friends?"
Figuring out your niche FIRST is crucial because only then do you know what your brand can be and what content you can offer.
When you laser focus on your very specific niche, you will notice a turning point in your business.
Next, your BRAND. What do you have that will serve others? What exactly is it that you are offering?
(Hint: it's NOT Beachbody programs! Those are TOOLS for us, but not all we have to offer!)
-What stories do you have to share that can inspire people?
-What have you overcome?
-What are the 3-5 things you are going to consistently share with your following to offer them value?
-Think about what you're passionate about: Cooking healthy meals? Growing in your faith? Being a good wife? Traveling? Fashion? Overcoming the post-baby body?
-What do you want people to think when they think of YOU? And what message do you want them to receive from?
**You want people searching for YOU (because they are attracted to you and what you offer), not you searching for people.**
-In everything you post- selfies, recipes, stories, adventures, mental/physical transformations, new coach announcements, blog posts, profile and cover photos, offers/challenge groups posts- think of your brand!
Knowing your niche and your brand will be what drives your CONTENT.
-When you have great content, you have greater & easier conversion from Facebook relationship to challenger/coach.
-Your content is what attracts the right (new) people to you and takes care of your current following by emotionally connecting with them.
-The purpose of everything you post is to connect with your niche and build the relationship with them.
-Content should be a mixture of videos, images, and text. If you struggle with writing, make more videos! And vice versa.
For all of the following, create posts that address these issues! If they are on your blog, you can use as a resource to answer questions they ask. If you're posting these on Facebook, you'll be answering questions before they're even asked by people you may not even know are watching!
1. Top 5 objections you get from your niche *answer these objections INCREDIBLY well in posts
2. Top 5 unmet needs/problems you can solve for your niche *especially EMOTIONAL needs like struggles with self-image as well as physical needs like lack of time but desire for tough workouts, etc.
3. Top 5 ways you help your niche *customize everything on your blog to show this

Need a break?
I know. It's a lot.
But it's a GOOD problem to have-- so many coaches are left to figure this all out on their own! Take it in small doses if needed. Just be sure to start IMPLEMENTING some of these tips ASAP!
BUILDING YOUR POTENTIAL COACH/CLIENT LIST
This one may be a little tedious but it’s VERY, VERY EFFECTIVE. Make a list of your family members: husband, mom, dad brother, sister, cousins, aunts, uncles – anyone you think MAY be interested in either trying the products or hopping on as a coach.
Write their name down under the heading of FAMILY. Then, create another heading FRIENDS, CO-WORKERS, etc.! Go through your Facebook friend list, your e-mail address book, your Instagram followers, etc. and and write down the names of friends/family/co-workers that you think would be a good coach/customer. Give them an * next to their name if you think they would be a good fit for both. This process may take you awhile, not something you can do in one sitting, but maybe try to add 10 people a day to your list until you've reached 100 people.
An example below is attached and I love the way this coach laid out her list. She added an emoji check-mark for the people she sent an invite to and then a thumbs up or down emoiji for the people interested / not interested. Easy way to stay organized. You can of course use basic pen & paper, an Excel spreadsheet, Google Sheets, etc. Whatever is easier for you to keep track of your prospects!

---SOCIAL BUBBLES---
One way to grow your network, brainstorm people you know, and create a list to "hey girl" (aka: build a relationship with)
Remember those web diagrams you did in middle school and swore you'd never do again? Well, they're making a comeback!!
So here's what to do:
-You in the middle
-Branch off every social circle you've ever been in. Schools, jobs, hobbies, yoga classes, kid's sports, childhood teams, anything and everything.
-Write down ONE person you know from each circle.
-Go to their page and friend 5 of their friends.
Now you've brainstormed people you may not have thought of yet, so you can "hey girl" them AND you've grown your network so you can "hey girl" them in the future! And of course each week (or whenever) you can go back to each bubble, think of another person you know from there and go friend their friends! Pretty much guaranteeing you have an ever-growing network/circle of influence.
You can also use this MEMORY JOGGER resource to help you think of people that may have slipped your mind!
I like tracking all of my names/lists in the Evernote app/website because it syncs together so I can update wherever I am and know exactly where I'm at in a conversation with someone. The last thing you want is to write someone's name down and completely forget you've chatted with them and then send a message that screams, "Hey, I totally forgot about you."
Try different methods and see what works for YOU. Whatever you do, just try your best to stay ORGANIZED.
Here's a helpful video on how to start UNawkward conversations with new people. Be sure to check out the team page files as well as this doc if you want more specific examples for messaging and inviting!
BUILDING YOUR TEAM/RECRUITING
Recruiting new coaches to bring onto our team is SUCH a huge aspect of our business! Like we've mentioned before, it's where the BIG MONEY in Beachbody happens! There is one call and one call only that I want to share with you guys on this topic. It's THAT perfect. It was done by Jenelle Summers who is a THREE TIME Superstar Diamond coach (highest rank in the company three times-- the ONLY coach to ever do that, so far!) so she KNOWS how to help others create success and she's kind enough to share that information with her whole downline- which includes us! (Pretty cool!)
{{RECRUITING YOUR DREAM TEAM}}

Start adding to your team now and plugging them into our trainings!
Highlights from this call:
-
How are you positioning yourself as a coach? Does it look like you’re just doing this as a hobby or does this LOOK like a business for you? People want to see that you are making this a part of your life and that you’re going to stick to it. Make your profiles look like you are going to be a leader and guide them without bailing in a few months.
-
Provide content that solves a problem for people with a call to action. (call to action doesn’t have to be in every single post, but is offered frequently)
-
Warm market should be used. Make a list of everyone you know in your entire life. Friends, family, neighbors, coworkers past or present, accountants, classmates, service providers, businesses. Connect with these people WITHOUT bringing up fitness. You should bring up coaching WHEN you hear a need (financial, fitness, accountability, WAHM, Shakeo lovers) You won’t hear a need without talking and connecting with lots of people.
-
Ask this question -> “Have you ever considered doing an online business to help you with _______”
-
DON’T give info that the person didn’t ask for --- that’s when it comes across as a sales pitch or pushy. When you are word vomiting, that is when people feel like they are being sold to. “the more I say, the less I make” However, if you have a reason for asking the above question, you aren’t selling, you are offering a solution.
-
Build your network daily. You want to add 2-3 friends every single day at a minimum. Look at your # of FB friends right now - and at this time next week, that number should be AT LEAST 20 people higher.
-
Attract new people with content! It’s okay to put “please click share of tag a friend who might like this _____”

Guess what?
You did it.
